In English: Jorge Angel Diaz López

With a multidisciplinary background that includes the fields of education, public administration, leadership, creativity development, and the generation of paradigms for change, Jorge Ángel Díaz López was the founder of the company Quídam Global, S.A. de C.V. and director of Dialogues at the Universal Forum of Cultures, Monterrey. For much of his life, he taught and lived by the principles of Will Schutz and The Human Element, sharing them with hundreds of people and organizations globally. At Tecnológico de Monterrey, he served as Rector of the Central Zone of the system, director of the State of Mexico campus, and founder of both its Center for Research and Documentation in Higher Education and the Año 2000 Project. He completed his professional studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he earned a degree in Physical Sciences with honors. He was the winner of the Premio al Saber (Knowledge Award). He held a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and also earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Dr. Diaz passed away in March 2024, leaving behind countless friends and colleagues around the world, his beloved wife, Julieta Renée, his children, and grandchildren. This collection of poems brings together little-known material and was chosen from a vast collection of writings, most of them unpublished.
